WHAT IS TAY-sAchs?
According to Mayo-Clinic, Tay-Sachs is a rare genetic disorder which can be described as an issue where some enzymes which help break down toxic substances are not present ("Tay Sachs Disease"). This can cause the inflicted to lose many of their functions. Functions such as muscle control and various motor skills. This disorder can lead to blindness, paralysis, and, in some cases, death ("Tay Sachs Disease").
